ABOUT THE PROJECT

This system was developed in order to give users easy access to new music that they would otherwise not find due to the large number of music being released every year. Personally, I realized that despite the fact that I pay for a monthly Spotify subscription, I still gravitate towards the same songs and the artists that I am already used to. Therefore, developing this engine was a way for me to be able to discover as much new music as possible. This felt like the perfect portfolio project for my Holberton School certification as it allowed me to apply what I had learnt during the course with what I love most, which is listening to music.
